Families looking for a way to print wirelessly from their phone and tablet can find it in a couple of new printers being announced from Canon.

Available from this week, two new models in Canon’s Pixma range aim to make it easier to print pictures shot on the go from a mobile or tablet than ever before.

The Canon Pixma MG3260 (above) starts this up by offering double sided and borderless A4 printing, ink quality that Canon says will last a century, copying, scanning, WiFi, and support for Apple AirPrint, and mobile printing with Android and Apple apps available.

Going up from this, the Pixma MG4260 (below) includes all of that, but also throws in “Pixma Cloud Link” technology which lets you print documents and photos at home, even when you’re not there.

A new piece of software is also included in the package, with “My Image Garden” taking photos on your computer and turning them into a calendar showing you past events and memories. The software also features facial recognition, so you don’t have to sit there working out who is in what photo for too long.

Canon haven’t given us pricing for the new printer as yet, but we’d hazard a guess that you’d find them for below $ 200 at stores from this week.
