If Lucius Fox Built Batman A Racecar It Would Look Like This

We’ve seen some pretty awesome Batmobile concepts in the past and even a real-life turbine-powered Batmobile, but what if the Dark Knight drew inspiration for his rides from the racing world? Well, we’re going to assume that it would end up looking something like the F1-inspired Batmobile concept you see above.

Designed by DeviantArt user KnightVision3D, this concept draws inspiration from the awesome cars seen tearing across the pavement in events like the United States Grand Prix and would surely be a favorite of the Bat’s if Lucius Fox ever got around to developing it.

Here’s what KnightVision3D had to say about his design:

I decided to go out on a limb and try to think, what would Bruce Wayne do if, like me he had a passion for F1, and wanted Lucius Fox to build him a new Car?

This is what I have come up with, an Amalgamation of F1 inspiration, Tumbler technology and two Jet Turbines. Ignoring the rules of fixed aerodynamics, I have added hydraulic flaps and allowed the air collected above the cockpit to be funneled around the turbine exhaust and out under the rear diffuser.

The car is a beast and would surely be able to run down any criminals trying to make a quick getaway. What do you think? Would Bruce Wayne dig this Batmobile as much as we do?
