Illamasqua launches Rubber Brights: Their new Limited Edition rubber-finish nail color collection
Hands up if you loved Illamasqua’s rubber finish nail colors! It took matte finish to the next level – to the most brilliant waxy, satiny finish; so much better than a boring old flat matte. Illamasqua has just released their new limited edition nail varnish collection called Rubber Brights. This collection has been inspired by the dominatrix rubber boots of the girls of 1920s Berlin. A worthy successor to their last rubber-finish collection titled Theatre of the Nameless, this collection focuses on bolder and brighter hues, as opposed to the darker ones last time around. The USP of these shades is their creamy, silky applicability and quick drying. They dry onto the nails in the most amazingly even way, for the smoothest finish. These are so opaque that they barely require a second coat. The new colors may not be ones you haven’t seen before. However, it is the texture of these nail colors that make them so exciting. These buildable shades are also chip-resistant.
Illamasqua’s Rubber Brights features six new shades with the matte rubber-like finish: Nurture (candy apple green), Optimist (warm yellow), Aorta (scarlet red), Devotee (candy pink), Serenity (bright turquoise) and Prosperity (rich purple). The artists recommend not adding a top coat to get the true rubber effect. They retail for $ 14 each.
