Anyone after a TV with a picture quality greater than any other available television may have to travel to Korea, as LG has a product that measures 213 centimetres diagonally and features a breathtaking 4K resolution coming out shortly.

While we wait for TVs to move beyond the full HD resolution of 1920×1080, also known as “1080p,” manufacturers are working to bring the next generation of high definition to lounge rooms.

LG wants to be one of the first ones there, and it already has an 84 inch 3D Smart TV that supports not only 1080p, but also 3840×2160, also known as UD or “ultra-high resolution” display.

Passive 3D support is also included, practically a part of every LG 3D TV at the moment, but unlike the current TVs, it can show stereoscopic content in full HD 1080p, compared to the current 720p limit of passive 3D TVs.

We don’t have a price yet, and we expect that to get it, you’ll have to fly to Korea right now, but we have heard that the new TV should be released later this year to the rest of the world, with Australia possibly included on that list.
