Nintendo has found the perfect way to stay fresh and present in the consumer’s minds, even during the times that they have no new products to show us. In May Nintendo launched its 3DS video game system in a new color, midnight purple. This time around, they are getting us excited about the DSi portable game system all over again by releasing it in two new beautiful colors. Nintendo announced that the DSi will be available in two brand-new colors in North America this week – Matte Red and Matte Blue! Even though this gaming device is already available in blue, the new paint jobs will have a somber and classy matte finish. We suppose that these colors will appeal to the older users more, as they lack the childish brightness. Now you don’t have to be embarrassed playing with one of these on the subway on your way to work! Besides the new colors, the DSi is exactly the same in terms of functionality and specs with two 3.25-inch screens, and a pair of 0.3-megapixel front- and rear-facing cameras.

Nintendo DSi’s new colors, Matte Blue and Matte Red come make a fine addition to the older colors – blue, black, and pink. The gaming device retails for $ 100.
