Phineas And Ferb, Gravity Falls, Tron Creators On The Ideal Summer Activities

You may not have one hundred and four days of Summer vacation, but there’s still at least a few weeks left to get all the Smores cooking and firefly catching you can in… Or at least, Smores cereal eating, and Firefly watching, if you’re more like us. Doesn’t mean you don’t have options, though, and luckily, the creators of some of Disney’s biggest animated series have a few suggestions.

In the above video, Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (“Phineas and Ferb”), Alex Hirsch (“Gravity Falls”), Charlie Bean (“TRON: Uprising”) and Noah Z. Jones (“Fish Hooks”) talk about what really made their summers special… And in case you couldn’t guess, how that ties in neatly with their shows on Disney Channel, or Disney XD.

Naturally, they ties in best with both Phineas & Ferb, and Gravity Falls, both of which have plots that focus squarely on what kids do during the warmer months. With Tron and Fish Hooks, unless you spent your summers being forced to battle for your life inside a computer, or were a fish, maybe not quite as applicable.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering why the video: it’s a sneak promo for the brand new, epic two-part Phineas and Ferb spectacular “Where’s Perry?, Part 1″ which premieres Thursday, July 26 on Disney Channel. That takes care of one day of Summer vacation!
