Nicki Minaj is making sure her audience is on tenterhooks waiting for her new fragrance to release. Last month, she tweeted an image of her Pink Friday fragrance bottle, but refused to divulge any details. We finally have all the details of this exciting new perfume, thanks to a press release detailing the fragrance. The most important question – what would it smell like? The top notes of star fruit, Italian mandarin, and a blackberry and raspberry hybrid called boysenberry, are beautifully complemented with a heart of lotus and starry jasmine petals, while the base consists of caramelized pear, vanilla, musk and woody notes. It seems to be an intoxicating mix of floral and musky scents, bound to appeal to a large number of women! Minaj states that this fragrance is a “celebration of my life at this moment; it is a reflection of me as a creator, and an expression of me as a woman.” The bottle is a gold dusted bust of Minaj herself. Now that is something you don’t see every day.

Pink Friday by Nicki Minaj will release later in September. The collection includes a 1.7 oz. and 3.4 oz. Eau de Parfum, as well as a body lotion and hair mist. The fragrances are expected to be priced at $ 49 for the 1.7 oz. bottle and $ 59 for a 3.4 oz. bottle, with the body lotion for $ 25 and the hair mist for $ 22.
