To reward its Facebook followers, FX has released a creepy teaser for American Horror Story: Asylum, the upcoming second season of the Emmy-nominated thriller from Glee and Nip/Tuck co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

As the title suggests, the new season is set in a mental institution in 1964, as opposed to the haunted house in present-day Los Angeles, with some of the original cast  — Jessica Lange, Evan Peters and Zachary Quinto — in new roles, joined by the likes of James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, Adam Levine and Chris Zylka.

The new season premieres in October.
